What time do we check out?
Check out is at 10:00am. Unfortunately, we are unable to grant extensions as my housekeeper is on a strict schedule to complete the home clean before the next guest arrive.
What time may we check in?
Check in is at 4:00pm. You may come to License to Chill to park and go to the beach or explore the island. You may use the outside shower and facilities if needed but please do not enter the home until after the housekeeper completes the clean. I will happily contact you if the housekeeper completes early.Thank you.
If we have an emergency in the family, can we get reimbursed for our 50% deposit?
The Host will consider all issues on a case-by-case basis. The deposit may always be applied toward a future stay at License to Chill.
What is the Beach dog policy?
Dogs are welcome on Edisto Beach as long as they are on a leash from May 1 to October 31. Doggy-waste bags are available at almost every beach access. Please utilize my biodegradable bags to prevent plastic from entering the ocean and dispose of properly. Dogs are allowed off leash Nov 1 to April 30 if owners have recall of their pets. Please keep dogs off the marked turtle nests and dunes.
Also, many dogs go missing in an unfamiliar environment. Please ensure your dog has tags with owner contact information. There is blue painters tape and a sharpe in the house to label the dog collar with your temporary address.
Please do not leave pets unattended on screened porch or in yard. There are alligators in the tidal creek as well as wildlife such as coyotes that use the creek as a pathway.
All pets must be current on vaccinations and flea treatment. (honor system)
Please check dog paws for sandspurs in the ears and between the toes after a trip to the beach.

What do I need to bring?
Bring bug spray, sunscreen, additional ice, and beach towels. License to Chill is equipped with everything else you may need, including beach equipment. Bicycle availability is not guarrateed
